| Description: | Participate in studies of cell cycle control, liver regeneration, hepatic metabolism, and liver cancer in an NIH-funded basic research laboratory. |
| Duties: | Prepare supplies and materials for tests and studies. Safely operate routine research equipment and accurately perform routine tests and analysis. Maintain records and databases of research test results. Orders and stocks supplies as required. May conduct surveys with diverse populations. May handle small rodents. |
| Qualifications: | Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be completion of an Associates Degree and a minimum of six (6) months practical experience in related field of study.
Ability to develop projects independently, review relevant literature, and be a team player. Experience in cell culture, mouse handling, and key RNA, protein, and DNA analytical techniques preferred. |
