|Description:||Performs routine laboratory tasks. Willingly assists departmental research personnel with research projects for the Toxicology Research Laboratory and participate in NIH-funded preclinical animal studies of new therapies for nicotine addiction.|
Work Schedule: Weekends & Holidays, 8am – Noon.
|Duties:||Responsible for animal (rodent) handling, data collection and analysis for behavioral studies, including nicotine self-administration and brain self-stimulation.|
|Qualifications:||Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be an upper level undergraduate in psychology, neuroscience or a related program with relevant lab experience preferred. |
Ability to read, write, and comprehend laboratory procedures, work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner with lack of mistakes, and adhere to institutional safety protocols.
