Description:Analyze clinical and complex survey data. Review journal clinical statistical analysis. Assist in research publication and study design. Contributes in the development of departmental standards, procedures and methodologies. Assist project leaders in completing project time/cost and status information.
Duties:Calculate/Conduct descriptive statistics using computer based analysis tools.

Interpret results of analysis for physicians.

Generate descriptive tabular information and graphical displays.

Search and review articles associated with clinical statistical analysis.

Compare, evaluate, and report statistical techniques.

Review literature related to specific diseases.

Prepare statistical information in support of research/study publications.

Document methods and procedures of statistical analysis and techniques.
Qualifications:Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be a Master�s degree in Biostatistics, statistics, or related field. 0-3 years experience in computer applications, information systems, database concepts, statistical programming in clinical data analyses and complex data sets, analysis and interpretation and documentation and outcome measurements/analysis is desired. Experience working in a medical and/or research setting is preferred.

Requires interaction with a diverse population. Knowledge of statistics including survival analysis and related statistical techniques. Skills in statistical computing with statistical packages in PC and larger computing environments. Experience with complex survey data analysis and Medicare claims analysis. Must be able to meet deadlines, be flexible, strong problem solving skills, and work effectively in a team environment. Must demonstrate effective written and oral communication, strong presentation and listening skills. Display high standards of attendance, punctuality, maintains confidentiality, and manages time effectively.
